ASUS surprised us at a preview session showcasing the upcoming ZenPad 7.0 model number Z370CG, with Luxury On Your Terms as their tagline, ASUS made the ZenPad 7.0 a product that’s accompanied by a range of accessory support.
Before I proceed any further on this device, let’s have a look at this lengthy presentation that details every bit you need to know about the ZenPad 7.0
To sum it up – the ZenPad 7.0 is a 7″ tablet with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) that’s powered by an Intel® Atomâ„¢ x3-C3230 Quad-Core, 64bit, it has a WXGA (1280×800) screen using IPS panel and comes with Corning® Gorilla® Glass and Anti-fingerprint coating. It has an 8 MP Rear Camera with Auto-Focus and 1 x Front Speaker with DTS HD Premium Sound.
Part of the ZenPad 7.0 package is an additional case, it comes with a black case by default and the additional case is Silver. Please refer to the video above for the available add-on accessories to the ZenPad 7.0
Here’s the device itself.
Here’s the view from the back, the case is in reference to that single black piece that’s removable.
The case is removable and you will be able to switch it to other cases to suit your mood, in my opinion Asus should call it a “e” instead of a “case” because a “case” often implies an accessory that seals and protects the device itself. The ZenCase here looks more like a bezel.
The ZenPad 7.0 supports a telecommunications, so it caters 1x MicroSIM and 1x MicroSD card. The connection speed available is up to 3G.
The camera is placed at the far corner of the tablet.
Here’s a CPU-Z capture for the device.
And of course, a review as such would come with the specs sheet.
More details available at the official product page. On the next page we’ll have a look at the benchmarks and user experience.
