Last year the A10-6800K (Richland) and the A10-5800K (Trinity) showed us how AMD has progressed their APU development and with this year, the most anticipated product for Q1 is their APU codenamed “Kaveri”. With us today (it’s obviously in the title) is the A10-7850K Black Edition, the top of the crop among the Kaveri.
This is not a new processor BUT it’s my favorite AMD FX range processor to date and I thought it deserves a highlight.
The FX-9590 is AMD’s current flagship processor, of which AMD claimed (a few months ago) to be First-Ever 5 GHz Processor.
Unlike the Core i5, the Core i3 variants in Intel’s processor line up runs only on 2 cores but it has Hyper-Threading that makes it a virtual quad-core processor. How well does the Core i3-4130 hold up to the other processors in the market?
