ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, introduces two new monitors to its VP series professional monitor line which is designed to deliver the ultimate performance for the most demanding professionals and prosumers. In addition to professional grade colour accuracy, features to be expected with the release of the 27-inch VP2768 and 32-inch VP3268-4K include hardware calibration, a sleek frameless design, HDR support, as well as resolutions up to 4K UHD.
“With the release of the VP2768 and VP3268-4K, ViewSonic is offering two excellent professional display solutions that will satisfy even the most demanding colour enthusiasts,” said Adams Lee, President of ViewSonic Europe and Asia Pacific. “We understand how important product design and colour accuracy are to our customers; we developed these monitors with those elements in mind and we’re proud to be able to deliver the ultimate viewing experience through these new solutions.”
Engineered to deliver the unmatched colour accuracy crucial for professional creative applications, the ViewSonic® VP2768 monitor features WQHD (2560×1440) resolution and displays both vivid detail and lifelike colour. The screen measures 27-inches diagonal and comes equipped with a four-sided frameless design, which result in a comfortable image editing experience. VP2768 covers 99% of the sRGB colour gamut, which aligns with the universally used colour space for web content and mobile devices, while the monitor’s 14-Bit colour has the ability to produce a colour palette of over 4 trillion colours for smooth colour transitions.
The VP3268-4K marks the company’s first 4K UHD model from the VP line, as well as the first VP model to feature HDR support. In addition to its jaw dropping Ultra HD (3840×2160) resolution, VP3268-4K’s HDR support delivers High Dynamic Range colour and detail enhancements for HDR optimized content. Users looking to amplify their screen real estate will find that the monitor strikes a satisfying balance between resolution and screen size with its 32-inch 4K UHD screen, making the monitor incredibly useful for larger colour critical projects, such as video editing.
VP2768 and VP3268-4K are pre-calibrated out of the box to achieve professional grade Delta E<2 accuracy and Delta Lv<5% uniformity for colour-critical applications. Additional hardware calibration options are available via the ViewSonic Colorbration calibrator which has been co-developed with colour management experts X-Rite. Both models sport a SuperClear IPS for wide, distortion-free viewing angles and ViewSonic’s Auto Pivot feature makes toggling between portrait and landscape modes quick and easy. Extensive connectivity options on these models make them suitable for use with a wide array of laptops and peripherals. The release of VP2768 and VP3268-4K signify the beginning of ViewSonic’s ascent into larger format monitors, as the company plans to release more professional and gaming models from 27-inches and up in the near future. Both VP3268-4K and VP2768 will be available November 2017 at $3,999 (RM) and $2,299 (RM) respectively.
