Ridiculously long titles always appear on Intel related events. 😛 Simply because more devices are getting powered by Intel technology, just as the Transformer Book T100, that’s why we have events as such. If you remember, the previous “record holder” was the Intel and Samsung event held just a few weeks back.
This marks the launch of the new Multi-core Low-power SoC (Systems on a chip) that will power upcoming devices, the latest being the one codenamed “Bay Trail”, catering to tablets, 2-in-1 devices and other mobile devices.
The “Bay Trail” family of processors is based on Intel’s low power, high performance michroarchitecture “Silvermont”, announced in May 2013.
