Last year the A10-6800K (Richland) and the A10-5800K (Trinity) showed us how AMD has progressed their APU development and with this year, the most anticipated product for Q1 is their APU codenamed “Kaveri”. With us today (it’s obviously in the title) is the A10-7850K Black Edition, the top of the crop among the Kaveri.
Asus describes the H87M-Pro as “Feature-loaded micro-ATX H87 features high-endurance 5X Protection and new UEFI BIOS” of which it certainly is.
The Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 from Asus is a revised version of the Sabertooth 990FX, hence the “R2.0” added to the model. The Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 is also part of Asus’ TUF range of boards, like the B85 board reviewed a few weeks ago.
The Elite 130 is what I call a “long time” Mini-ITX casing, along the lines of the Stacker HAF 915‘s line of design.
