The Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 from Asus is a revised version of the Sabertooth 990FX, hence the “R2.0” added to the model. The Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 is also part of Asus’ TUF range of boards, like the B85 board reviewed a few weeks ago.
This is not a new processor BUT it’s my favorite AMD FX range processor to date and I thought it deserves a highlight.
