Vector Desk – The Collector’s Choice!

Yes this is a review but a slightly different one. You see, I’ve had this Vector Desk with me for quite a while now and I can tell you that it’s a really beautiful piece of furniture.

Since the Vector Desk is a furniture, I’m giving this product review a different approach. In case you guys didn’t know, I’m very much into collecting figurines and I’ve recently launched Moeness as an avenue to express the ACG-ish side of me.

OK so now back to the topic – I call the Vector Desk “The Collector’s Choice” simply because it’s a furniture that has a display case.

Let’s face it, not everyone has the funds to go all out in creating a bad-ass looking content to fill up the space of the Vector Desk. It’ll be great if the desk was designed to have 2 motherboard tray so I can have 2 systems in one but this is not the case. Most people use the empty area on the left for coolant tanks (as seen on Vector’s page), that’s great if you have one but what if you don’t?

😀 Easy, just use the space to display whatever you love collecting. 🙂 If you’re not a collector, how about some family photos? Or perhaps a collection of dead mice (the computer types!)? Here’s my setup with a LEGO Star Wars X-wing Fighter.

Not convinced? Well then, let me try to convince you through a video.

The Verdict

The Vector Desk – it retails at USD 950 (not inclusive of shipping) – sure it’s costly but what you get is a very well built furniture with some assembly required. The package comes with tempered glass that covers the top.

A Collector’s Choice? Yes it is, I’m still coming up with how to best decorate my Vector Desk. 😉
