I was informed that the CPU01 in review here is a revised model and as a user of the CPU02 I can attest to the claims as I feel that the overall build is better, for example the covers on the connector felt more solid and the braided cable felt tougher, it also comes with a velcro strap now for you to keep things in place.

The Verdict

The SilverStone CPU01 500mm USB Cable retails at RM 49, it’s worth your consideration over 2 key features – first being that it is has reversible connectors while the second being that it’s of superior build quality. I do wish that it’s priced a little lower, paying RM 49 for a cable is quite a stretch.
