This is the longer variant of the 500mm model that I reviewed before and this would be the one to get if you prefer long cables.

I was informed that the CPU01 in review here is a revised model and as a user of the CPU02 I can attest to the claims as I feel that the overall build is better, for example the covers on the connector felt more solid and the braided cable felt tougher, it also comes with a velcro strap now for you to keep things in place.
Unlike the 500mm model the 1800mm is long, but that’s stating the obvious. It’s 350% the length of it and you’ll find that the SilverStone CPU01 is useful for getting the cable across the room, or at least from the front of the car to those sitting at the back.
The Verdict
The SilverStone CPU01 1800mm USB Cable retails at RM 59, and it’s certainly better value when compared to the 500mm at RM 49. It’s worth your consideration over 2 key features – first being that it is has reversible connectors while the second being that it’s of superior build quality.
