For those of you who hate using on-screen keyboards, the Rapoo E6100 could be just the right product to spare you from further hair loss!
I think the keyboard needs no explanation, it’s small and Ultra-slim and it comes with 2x AAA batteries pre-installed.
Here’s what it looks like from the side, in comparison to a slim HTC One smartphone.
The keyboard has a default stand that holds the battery, the keyboard will never rest flat on any surface.
More details at the official product page.
User Experience
The Rapoo E6100 does not come with any USB receiver so connection is limited to only BlueTooth.
The size and connectivity option alone indicates that the Rapoo E6100 is meant to be used with tablets, it works great with smartphones as well. After all a tablet is often just a magnified smartphone. 🙂 It works with any notebook with BlueTooth as well but I see no reason to do so, after all notebook computers already come with a keyboard.
The keys are of good size and comfortable to press, the build quality is pretty impressive.
Pairing was easy, all I did was enter the pairing number when requested and it gets everything done.
Once connection is established, you’re on your way to happy typing over a smartphone / tablet!
The Verdict
The Rapoo E6100 Bluetooth Ultra-Slim Keyboard retails at RM 129, what you get is a very compact keyboard that works with phones and tablet. It’s great for mobility purpose and it works fine on the table too, it sure beats typing on the screen.
