User Experience / Benchmark
I tested the charging speed based on my cars default USB port which I reckon is a 0.5A port, and compared it to the Dual USB Car Charger.
I did a simple test by running a HTC One M8 with the battery flat out, and did a 20 minute run to see how far the charge goes.

You might expect that the charge from 2.1A port to be around 24%, the only explanation I can think of is that the % reading is based on estimation. For example, the 10% from 100% to 91% seems to give more usage time than say 10% to 1%. Another explanation that could go along with it is that rated charge may not be absolute.
The Verdict
The FSP Dual-USB Car Charger retails at RM 39 and it comes with 1 year warranty. I’ve had bad experience with various car charges, some just failed after a few weeks usage while others couldn’t even working right from the start (door-gift products are often of horrible quality) so I’m really glad to have this product that comes with all sorts of protection to minimize mishaps.
