Now we come to the internals of the Meshify C, you should be able to gauge by now that the Meshify C isn’t the largest of casing. It is in fact quite compact with little to no room to the front section.
Here’s the grille and the fan mentioned earlier, I do wish there are more fans and that they are 140mm fans. I like it that they went with 2 long cutout and provided it with rubber grommets.
Here’s the rear side of the casing interior, yet again a 120mm (give us 140mm!) with rubber grommet equipped cut outs at the top side.
The motherboard tray has a really huge opening and right behind it is the 2.5″ drive mounting piece.
The Meshify C comes with PSU shroud that covers from front to back.
Here’s the view from the other side of the casing.
As always Fractal Design provides velcro strap for cable management and have the key cables pre-strapped to the frame.
Here’s the 3.5″ drive bay, it’s removable.
Lastly the 2.5″ drive mounting piece.
Below are the specs as seen on the
official product page.
User Experience
I’m a huge fan of Fractal Design products and I have expectation, a VERY HIGH expectation on every of their product and I’m happy to report that the Meshify C is one that I have no complaints about, other than the few wishes like for 140mm fans and more fans, and that I also wish they bundled it with more screws rather than ‘just nice’ amount.
🙂
The Meshify C is compact and surprisingly light weight despite having tempered glass panel. The frame isn’t thick but it’s good and the edges are refined.
Unlike the Define series that’s focused on silent PC setup (which is why I’m a huge fan of Fractal Design casings in the first place), the Meshify range focuses on airflow, and that explains why the unit comes with a dust filter at the top instead of a panel with sound dampening material.
The Verdict
The Fractal Design Meshify C retails at RM 439 – great design, compact in nature yet having all the necessary points to mount greater cooling components.
I love the casing. RGB fan boys, look elsewhere. 🙂
