It’s great to play games on the go but lugging around gaming headphones might difficult due to the size but this is not the case with the Resonar gaming earphone from Cooler Master CM Storm.
The Resonar is very nicely packaged with the content visible even before opening the box.
In the package is the Resonar gaming earphone, carrying hard case, Audio/ Mic splitter and extra ear tips.
Here are some photos of the ear piece itself.
There is a tiny knob at the back of the ear piece for added bass.
Avoid irritating wire tangles with Resonar’s mess-free cable system and switch between gaming and phone calls easily with its included remote.
The carrying case for the Resonar – a great way to protect the product from being crushed, or being further tangled.
Below are some details taken from the official product page.
User Experience
The Resonar is impressive in audio output, I’m surprised that it covers midtones well enough and produce sufficient bass. Please don’t get the impression that it’s bassy like headsets because they will never be, what the Resonar does is that it brings more tone to the ear phone segment.
I think the strength of the product is the compact nature, stored within the carry case it’s takes up only about 10% the space compared to what you would require compared to say a CM Storm Pulse-R.
The Verdict
The Cooler Master CM Storm Resonar Gaming Earphone retails at RM 179, it’s a great earphone because of its build quality and audio output. It might cost quite a fair bit but you’re paying for something that’s very compact and produces better quality audio than the average ear phone.
