The Strike-X range has been part of AeroCool’s line-up for a long while, the Strike-X Cube is their latest, following the success of the DS Cube.
The most striking feature of the Strike-X Cube is the “forehead” where the power buttons, fan controller (the center knob) and the ports are placed.
From the rear, you could pretty much figure out what the placement of components will be like.
As always, I was pretty disappointed when I see a PCI-E enclosure as such but fortunately this is not the case for the Strike-X Cube.
The PCI-E components are individually locked with screws, yay! On the downside, it doesn’t use thumb screws so careful not to lose those screws.
Under the motherboard tray (yes, it’s removable) lies the PSU and drive area, call it the ground floor if you may.
The PSU is to be mounted on the PSU panel, some (like me) do find this a hassle. This means in order to change PSU, you’ll have to dismount the panel and move the panel to another PSU before mounting again.
