The Acer Predator 15, a gaming notebook with a 15.6″ TFT LCD screen with IPS technology. It is powered by Intel’s Core i7-6700HQ 2.6Ghz Quad-core processor and Nvidia’s GTX 980M GPU with 4 Gigabytes Video RAM.
The model in this review comes with 24 gigabytes worth of RAM and is upgradable to 64 gigabyte. Storage wise it has a 256 GB SSD and 1 TB hard disk.

The Predator 15 comes with backlit keyboard but it’s limited to ON / OFF and no color change – rather primitive when compared to what some other brands offer.
On the positive side, the Predator 15 comes with some shortcuts that could help you in your games.
Here are the ports found on the left and the right side of the notebook, the Predator 15 comes with a Blu-Ray drive and as you can see the unit is thick.
While it is a gaming powerhouse, the Predator 15 is heavy, weighing in at 3.4 Kilograms.
