Just yesterday, Intel unveiled the next wave of Ultrabooks powered by 3rd Generation Intel Core processors.
Made using 22nm 3-D tri-gate transistor manufacturing technology, the new chips were designed to increase media and graphics performance, and longer battery life.
Other benefits including sleep to awake state in less than 7 seconds, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, Anti-theft technology.
Intel claims that the new range of Ultrabooks perform are 30 times faster in video processing, and 19 times faster in 3D graphics, compared to Core 2 Duo based laptops released 3 years ago.
In short – Intel aims to bring a REFRESH to the scene.
