Asus and Google Announces the Launch of Nexus 7 Tablet in Malaysia

So there ya have it, it’s finally in Malaysia.

Price

The question in everyone’s mind – RM 999 for the 16GB variant. No details about the availability of the 8GB variant.

The price is rather steep, considering it’s only 249.00 USD at B&H, 299.63 USD if shipped to Malaysia. WTH Right?

I think the main comparison would be against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 that could be acquire for RM 999 as well.

That said, specs-wise they’re different. I’m in favor of the Nexus for the OS (not a Samsung modified one), the processing power and the screen. If you want 3G well the choice is obviously not on the Nexus.
