Remember how I said I was busy in my recent Site Update post? I wasn’t kidding. My plan to participate Canon PhotoMarathon 2009 was pretty much screwed when client couldn’t get things in place on time. 🙁
Well, it’s a good thing for me in a way – I needed the rest, nevertheless I still made my way to the PhotoMarathon at around noon. 🙂 Big thanks to the organizers to allow me entry to taste a bit of the experience.
I took the long walk down the Elephant Walk, just like everyone else.
And down further, reaching the point where I met a friend of mine who so happened to turn out to be one of the Winner for the competition. 😀
It was a hot day, by the time I got there I think half the participants already having a break and mingling around. I’m sure many of them got “poisoned”. 🙂
Some were still walking around. Notice how harsh was the hot weather?
Others were fooling around, having a good time……….. yeah, taking photos right there with the babes in bikini!
Here’s more photos of people, I nothing to elaborate further though. I must say
As with one of the themes – “Shooting In Progress”, I must say that there’s really a lot of shooting in progress in my short sub-2-hour visit.
And now I present to you my panoramic view of the place, especially for those who missed it. 🙂
Was It Good?
I don’t know. I’ve had mixed feedback from participants so far.
Some left early. Some stayed till the end. Some had fun. Some were disappointed.
As for me, I think the food and drinks there should be subsidized. 😛 Other than that, I think the best part of such outing is actually meeting friends and have a good time – whether or not you win anything. 🙂
