And here we are again for another report for the 2015 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational – Malaysia Edition. As always if you’re not familiar with the event you can always click on the video below.
As what I have predicted Week 5 is the week we see much progress from the participants.
Starting off this week’s report is Buckroger, it’s no surprise why I choose to highlight his work first – It’s STAR WARS MANIA after all! It might look simple but it isn’t, check out the following pictures.
That’s it for Buckroger’s update for Week 5. I’m sure more Star Wars themed goodies are making their way to his casemod.
Up next is Afiq’s update, what you see in the images below is that the system setup is underway.
Note the colored cables, the painted RAM units (pic above) and the painted fan frame (shown last week)
There’s also the waterblock for GPU that’s being modified, and I think it’s a model from EKWB. What graphics card model? I have no idea but from the PCI-E connectors shown it looks like a reasonably high-end model.
Components aside, the water cooling components such as the bent acrylic tubes and reservoir are in place.
Iren Modz showed us a unique update image – the modder himself! My guess is that this photo was taken by one of his feline buddies.
Case cutting work is underway, preparing the casing for the next stage and when I say “next stage”………..
….. OK it’s more like “next level”, and here we have a preview of the multi-story stacked setup for his mod. Can’t wait to see what’s in store.
As for Ijat’s work, I’ve not seen any signs of case cutting but we have from him is probably the most painted project so far. Could it be of a Minion theme? Maybe, then again I haven’t seen any goggles or blue pants around.
Lastly we have Aaron’s update of which I can only speculate that it will be something in white.
That’s all for this week’s report. As for week 6, I just got word that it’s currently on hold there are still sponsored parts that have not reach the participants.
As always, voting page is here – do vote wisely!
