Lenovo TheatreMax
What is it? Lenovo’s TheatreMax aims to create an illusion of being in a virtual theatre. Have either the Lenovo Vibe X3 or K4 Note placed on the AntVR headset and strap it on, you’ll be ready to go!
What the TheaterMax does is it splits your screen in two halves, and when viewed close up it gives you a virtual experience. This works great not just for movies but even for games that support VR mode.
Here’s a photo of myself (don’t underestimate my ability to take a selfie!) – the AntVR strapped on my head with the Lenovo K4 Note on it.
I tested it just recently at Lenovo’s store over at NU Sentral, all you need to do is walk in and give it a go!
The section shouldn’t be difficult to spot, it’s Lenovo’s highlight right now and don’t worry about the AntVR gear not in sight. Just go to the counter and the service representative will attend to you, they passed the AntVR gear to me within a minute upon request.

Here’s what you need to do – Visit your nearest Lenovo retail outlets and experience LENOVO TheatherMax with either VIBE X3 or VIBE K4 Note and the VR headset.
Ask your friend or family take a creative photo or video of you enjoying the Lenovo TheatherMax. Upload the photo/video to your Facebook or Instagram account. The social post must include #TheatermaxMY in caption and tag @LENOVOmobilemy on Instagram or LENOVO Mobile Malaysia on Facebook. Make sure your post has set to “public†(so that Lenovo can view your post).
The most creative submission will win a funding of any experience or trip you choose worth up to RM20,000. Two consolation prizes are a Lenovo Vibe X3 smartphone with a Lenovo VR headset.
