As a leading manufacturer of desktop cooling components, computer cases and notebook accessories, Deepcool enjoys a good reputation in the industry. In the end of this year, Deepcool officially announces the power supply product line. Deepcool PSU line currently has three series: Quanta for enthusiasts, Aurora for Mainstream builders, and Nova for entry-level users.
The first power supply unit released on their official website is DQ750. It is a solid 750W power supply with 80Plus Gold certification. The power supply features a single 12V rail with up to 62A output at maximum. With flat ribbon cable design, it is quite easy to put the wires on the back of motherboard tray to get a great airflow in the case. This power supply is semi-modular design with only the mainboard and CPU cable fixed onto the power supply. Other six cables are included in the box with four PCI-E 6+2Pin connectors, 6 SATA connectors and 6 big 4Pin peripheral connectors.
This power supply uses high quality Taiwanese capacitors inside to keep its stability in all working loads. A separate circuit design keeps the fan keeps at zero rpm and won’t start spinning when the power supply is under 30% load or the ambient temperature is below 25 degrees. The intelligent fan technology enables the fan keep the balance between cooling performance and noise level during different load level. Fan delay cool technology makes 140mm fan to work 15~30 seconds continually after power-off so to ensure all parts to cool down.
As for regulatory, DQ750 has CE, FCC, CCC, CB, EAC and TUV. And as for protection, this power supply has over voltage protection (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP) and over power protection (OPP).
