goldfries is now at the launch event of ASUS Zenfone 2 which is held in Jakarta Indonesia. It’s a huge event with attendees across Asia. The representatives from Malaysia alone comes to over 40 individuals.
The above is the price for the highest-spec Zenfone 2, it translates to around 1,300 MYR (not including GST).

First Impressions
The Zenfone 2 is big, it feels bigger than the Zenfone 5 and in fact I thought it felt more like the Zenfone 6. The quality looks good and certainly feels more robust than the Zenfone 5 and 6, probably due to the brushed-metal finish and in fact it’s quite like the HTC One M8 in that aspect.
It’s hard to gauge the overall performance of the phone at demo areas but what I notice is a distinct improvement in the camera of which the colors (output) look nicer that the existing Zenfone and Padfone series and it focuses faster too. Interface-wise the phone does feel like any other Asus phone with ZenUI.
The price range of the Zenfone 2 is expected to be from RM 800 (lowest) spec to RM 1400 once it hits our shores. Availability is not available at the time of this article, no pun intended.
