First Impressions
I think the strong point of the BU400 Asuspro series Ultrabook is that 6840mAh battery, spill resistant keyboard and powered by Intel Core i5-3337U processor. I’m wondering why they didn’t put an IPS Full HD screen instead.
Coming from a designer standpoint, it’s great that people use IPS screen so they can actually gauge colors better. 😛 That said, it’s not that impressive really. For that RM 3,599 price tag, I think Asus’ Zenbook offers more.
Perhaps the Zenbook didn’t go through the strict and demanding quality tests that comply to the MIL-STD 810G standard, maybe passing that test means that the Ultrabook could double as a bullet proof shield or weapon of choice should the need arise considering Malaysia’s current state of being akin to the wild wild west.
The BU400 will be available mid-September while the P45, late-August.
