This is one awesome mouse from Tt eSPORTS, the gaming peripheral division of ThermalTake. The Level 10M could probably the finest mouse you’ll ever come across.
Starting off, the packaging is simply beautiful but takes quite some effort to unbox. For example, getting the first set of tapes of was a little confusing as I cut the wrong area. After that the box is sealed with yet another tape. Once opened, the mouse is tucked neatly in place but tied to the packaging with some cable straps so you’ll need a blade to get it off. Be careful not to damage any cable or whatever else when you’re doing so.
Here’s the package contents, probably the most impressive of gaming mouse packaging.
Here’s the mouse, on the left there are 2 function buttons and 1 special button for DPI switching and profile swithing.
On the right there’s 2 other buttons.
Here’s the view from the front, the mouse is long and it has long buttons which surface aren’t connected to the body.
Here’s a view from the side in case you’re wondering what it looks like. The buttons are quite high up so take not of it, for me I prefer mouse buttons th at angle lower.
Here’s the bottom view, the mouse feet are quite small but they work well as the mouse is narrow.
The unique part about the Level 10M is that it’s adjustable to suit your comfort.
You can even tilt it sideways.
Here’s the view of the Level 10M when lighted.
And last but not least, the specs of the mouse as seen on the Level 10M.
User Experience
The Level 10M is lovely and that goes without saying. Unlike the typical plastic mouse, this mouse feels cooling and it keeps your palm cool too with the ventilated design.
The build quality is fine and solid, there’s nothing to fault at the mouse at all, the only concern is the industrial rubber surface that might get sticky as it ages. That aside, it’s a mouse with laser sensor that goes up to 8200DPI (more than what you need for 4K resolution gaming) and a bunch of buttons and profiles.
What I didn’t like about it are the buttons that are directly at the sides, that’s the area where you put your thumb and pinky for control but with the buttons there then it could trigger many unwanted actions so if you’re like me who finds it such, you can disable it via software.
Now about the software, it works fine to configure the mouse but I must say it’s probably the most badly designed User Interface ever. I like user interface that’s simple, having used Corsair, Cooler Master and many other brands before, it seems that this design is probably the worse and sad to say it reminds me of what I produced in college.
As for the adjustments on the mouse, that’s certainly very unique but unfortunately Level 10M doesn’t come with weight management and that could’ve made it better. As for me, I find the mouse to be really sensitive, that’s not a bad thing at all. As for the design, unfortunately it doesn’t suit me well but I’m sure there will be users out there who will find it just nice, in fact it’s a bonus to have adjustable body shape.
The mouse comes with 8 color LED for indication purpose of which you may assign the colors and behavior to the profiles. I like it that the DPI indicator is also indicated on the right mouse button.
The Verdict
The Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M Gaming Mouse retails at RM 330, it’s a splendid mouse. It looks great, and the build quality is unparalleled in my book. The software design might be bad but it works and I think that’s more than enough. My only complaint is the placement of buttons at the side that are uncomfortable and impractical unless you disable it or happen to hold the mouse in such a way that it doesn’t trigger them.
