User Experience

The JetDrive Go 300 isn’t your normal USB drive, it’s not just about transferring files from one medium to another.

The beautiful part about the JetDrive Go 300 isn’t just the drive itself BUT the software that works with the drive. Once you have the software installed, you can use it not only to manage the contents on the drive BUT you are also able to take photos and videos and have it stored on the drive instead of the internal storage. You are also able to backup the photos and videos on your device to the JetDrive Go 300.

So you might be asking – wouldn’t this be troublesome? As in having to connect the JetDrive Go to the phone all the time? Yes and no. Yes, you shouldn’t need to BUT there are times where this comes in handy, like say you’re using the iPhone for video recording. Having it save directly to the JetDrive Go allows you to bypass the step of copying the files unto the drive.

The Verdict

The Transcend JetDrive Go 300 is available in various sizes and the 32GB model reviewed here retails at RM 289.00 and it’s the best USB storage device that works hand-in-hand with iPhone, iPod and iPad, useful especially to those with low storage space. It’s not cheap but it’s the only way to go when it comes to having a USB device that works with Lightning connector.
