It’s been a while since I reviewed a low end graphics card, and it’s been and even longer while since I come across a HIS graphics card, so with us today is the sub RM 500 HIS RX 560 GREEN iCooler OC 2GB.
As you can see the HIS RX 560 GREEN is a compact graphics card that occupies 2 PCI-E slots.
There is no back plate on the HIS RX 560 GREEN and the PCI-E bracket has HIS on it.
Here is the GPU-Z of the HIS RX 560 GREEN.

The Benchmarks
The closest comparison I have is the GTX 1050 Ti, now come to think of it maybe I should add an R7 250X to the list but we’ll just settle with this.
Overall the HIS RX 560 looks great, price to performance wise it outperforms the GTX 1050 Ti.
Temperature wise it looks good too, I haven’t come across a card that runs at 22% RPM even on load.
For those who are curious about the mining capacity, it does 100 Sol/s for Zcash which is about 70% of what the GTX 1050 Ti does.
The Verdict
The HIS RX 560 GREEN iCooler OC 2GB retails at RM 490 and comes with 2 years warranty, if you can stretch the budget a little to RM 560 you can get the 4GB variant that should give you slight speed boost.
The HIS RX 560 GREEN iCooler OC 2GB is affordable, runs silent, allows you to enjoy major games at sufficiently playable framerate as long as you don’t mind medium graphics detail.
