The Rapoo 3710P is a sub RM 100 mouse that’s small in sized, suitable for those on the go.
The 3710P is not only small but it’s low profile, much smaller than the 7800P reviewed earlier.
From the front you’ll see that the Forward/ Back buttons are on the left that’s just nice for the thumb’s reach. Right below the scroll wheel is the DPI button that allows you to switch between 1600 and 800 DPI, and there’s a tiny Green LED further down the body that indicates battery life.
Here’s the bottom view, the mouse has only 2 feet and they’re very small. It’s a pity that they did not place any feet at the side as the will improve the traction of the mouse, especially across undulating surfaces, after all not all mousepad are totally flat.
The mouse is powered by 2x AAA battieries (pre-installed), stored neatly within the non-detachable cover. Sorry, no room to keep the USB wireless receiver unit. The battery is claimed to provide 9 months operation time while the range goes up to 10 meters.
As for the USB Receiver, it’s very compact and looks no different from the ones in other Rapoo products. It can be a little confusing when you are using a few Rapoo products.
The mouse works great for both work and games, the buttons are comfortable to click. The Rapoo 3710P works right out of the box, no driver installation required.
