The Board
As always with motherboard these days, rather large sinks around the CPU socket. I’m glad that there’s sufficient clearance around the 4+4-pin +12V CPU Connector socket.
Convenient buttons.
Forward facing SATA ports are a good thing. Unlike my P45 board where the SATA slot comes in conflict with longer PCI-E cards.
Good range of ports available.
Here’s the Official Product Page. So there ya have it, yet another MSI board with the usual MSI looks. Retailing at RM 380 or so, I would prefer to have the on-board LED power up status indicator instead of having those BIOS code showing on the lower right side of the screen.
Conclusion
The board is without onboard video (IGP) but it comes with overclocking feature and CrossfireX / SLI support.
There’s the cheaper MSI P67A-C45 which is a good alternative if you’re not using CrossfireX / SLI.
RM379 already! 😀
Hehe, drafted the article a whille back. 😛 paiseh paiseh.
