A good RAM is always a welcome, they’re just as important to gamers and content creators. The HyperX Savage DDR4 3000 is a RAM that’s fast, sleek and in comes from the brand that has a legacy of producing excellent RAM kits.
The HyperX Savege DDR4’s design is simple, the heatsinks design is sharp and attractive while not being obtrusive it is short and does not have any form of lighting.
As with Skylake-based systems, the RAM runs at a default of 2133Mhz so you’ll have to load the XMP profile to run it at the intended speed. HyperX provides 2666Mhz and 3000Mhz XMP Profile, I don’t need to tell you which one you should be running. 😀 The RAM timing of course is as seen in the image above.
The RAM tests turned out well, it works as how a DDR4-3000 should work. Overclocking was a NO-GO, I tried 3066Mhz and even bumping up the voltage but to no avail.

The Verdict
The model in this review is HX430C15SBK4/32 and it retails at Newegg for US$ 329, which is a good price point for a RAM of such speed and offers life-time warranty.
