It’s just barely 2 months since the review of ECS’LIVA Mini PC Kit and the new LIVA X is already in goldfries’ lab.
Unlike the LIVA where components are packaged but unassembled, the new LIVA X comes pre-assembled so it works right out of the box.
All you need to do is have the adapter plugged, that explains the smaller packaging in comparison to the one for the LIVA.
The LIVA X is an upgrade from the LIVA. It still runs on Intel’s SoC Bay Trail-M system and the processor is a Celeron N2808 (N2807 of LIVA) with base frequency of 1.58 GHz and burst Frequency 2.25 GHz (about 100Mhz faster than the one LIVA).
The LIVA Mini PC comes with either 32GB or 64GB storage, this unit is the 64GB variant. It has 4GB of RAM and a host of other I/O ports, the LIVA X comes only in black. Details of the LIVA X is as below, taken from the official product page.
And here are the details written on the box.
With the boring stuff done, let’s have a look at the LIVA X proper.
