A leading brand in the cooling industry, Cooler Master’s Nepton 240M is one of the many options available when it comes to all-in-one cooling system with 240mm sized radiators.
The Nepton 240M is a no-nonsense design with FEP Tubing for lower coolant evaporation rate, kink resistance and greater water flow.
The waterblock is copper based for better heat absorption.
On the top of the waterblock is the Cooler Master logo with white LED backlight.
The unit comes with 2 units of Silencio FP 120 fan. The Silencio FP 120 fan is claimed to have High Air Pressure of 4.8 mm H2O while remaining silent at 27 dBA(Max).
The Nepton 240M also comes with rubber piece to dampen the contact surface.
Below are the specs for the Nepton 240M

The Benchmarks
The cooler was tested on an Intel Core i5-4670K processor overclocked to 4.3Ghz @ 1.25vCore. Room temperature is set to 25c, the processor was set on load with video conversion test with x264.
As for the performance, here it is.
Cooler | Idle (°C) | Load (°C) |
Cooler Master Nepton 240M (Min) | 28 | 62 |
Cooler Master Nepton 240M (Max) | 27 | 55 |
ThermalTake Water 3.0 Ultimate | 30 | 61 |
ThermalTake Water 3.0 Ultimate (Max fan speed) | 28 | 46 |
ThermalTake Water 3.0 Performer C | 32 | 60 |
ThermalTake Water 3.0 Performer C (Max fan speed) | 29 | 57 |
Stock Cooler | 33 | 79 |
Interestingly it seems that the cooler is able to match the competitor product with larger radiator at low fan RPM, of course the one with larger radiator will benefit more when fans go full throttle.
The Verdict
Cooler Master Nepton 240M All-In-One Liquid Cooling Solution retails at RM 469, the price is on the high side a little short of the 360mm solution from a competitor brand. Of course not everyone has a spacious casing that fits a 360mm radiator, so the Cooler Master’s Nepton 240M would fit the bill most systems.
