By far the most expensive among the MasterCase line-up, the Cooler Master MasterCase Maker 5t comes in at a shockingly high price tag that’s almost 4-figures but is it worth the price?
The Cooler Master MasterCase Maker 5t is unique, starting off from the top the Maker 5t model here has a handle.
I have no idea how anyone wants to use it, the empty casing itself is ridiculously heavy thanks to the tempered glass on both sides that lock with a dedicated set of keys.
Now back to the handle, as with MasterCase units the MasterCase Maker 5t here has a detachable top for further customization.
The unique front from the MasterCase series is seen in the MasterCase Maker 5t with bright red edges and also finer controls such as lighting control (on, off, breath) and fan speed adjustments.
The front panel of the MasterCase Maker 5t is also a door, catering to users of optical drives.
Here’s the rear view of the MasterCase Maker 5t.
At the bottom it comes with 4 quite tiny rubber feet that are placed alone the metal support structure.
As with the interior it is spacious and if you look near the rubber grommets, you’ll see that the MasterCase Maker 5t comes with graphics card support arm which comes in handy for models that are long and heavy.
On the under side, the MasterCase Maker 5t doesn’t come with a PSU shroud but it has a piece that stretches from front to back.
And here’s the view from the other side of the motherboard tray, the MasterCase Maker 5t comes with ample space and it includes a hub for fan connection, this hub links to the front for fan speed control.
The Verdict
I absolutely love MasterCase Maker 5t – it’s stunning, it has more features than the MasterCase 5 and MasterBox models that, so the only problem with this unit right now is the hefty price tag of RM 999.
Look at the casing, it’s so beautiful with metallic red finishing all over the place, it glows, it has fan controls and even graphics card support but it is almost double the price of a MasterCase Pro 5.
