The system comes with a 120mm fan at the front, just below the drive cage.
From bottom, there are additional mounting holes for drive placement. As you can see, the design is such that the 120mm fan at the front is not blocked by any drive installation.
To illustrate the space available in the Elite 130, I used the Asus Z87i Pro Mini ITX board with a Cooler Master GeminiII M4 low-profile heatsink installed, and also an Asus R9 280X DirectCU II Top installed to show the how the Elite 130 can accommodate even long graphic cards.
Here’s the view from the other side. There’s a beam that cuts across the frame to strengthen the structure.
