Gaming mice are aplenty these days, good gaming mice are not so. The ASUS ROG Sica gaming mouse is an affordable gaming mouse that might be just the right one for you if your requirement is few.
ROG Sica is crafted to withstand the demands of marathon MOBA gaming, and is designed with input from pro-gaming teams like Taipei Assassins. This ambidextrous 5000 DPI optical gaming mouse optimizes click responsiveness by having the buttons independent of the mouse body, and is especially suited for those with a fingertip grip. Its exclusive easy-swap switch socket design even lets you customize click resistance. ROG makes sure you get the most out of your games.
Yes, so the ROG Sica mouse is one that’s designed with input from pro gamers for guaranteed performance and aesthetics, it’s ambidextrous and with the left and right button being a split panel from the body to improve responsiveness. The ROG Sica mouse has built-in flash memory and LED lights and it can be customized with ASUS’ Exclusive ROG Armoury interface.
The key feature on the ROG Sica mouse is the easy-swap switch socket for customizable click resistance. As for the performance specs, it has 5000 DPI, 130 ips, 30g acceleration and 1000Hz USB polling rate for swift, pixel-precise mouse tracking.
Being an ROG product, the Sica gaming mouse comes in red and black theme, a great match for ASUS ROG themed setup.
The profile is low and the buttons are comfortable to the click.
From the bottom you’ll see that the mouse feed are well placed, allowing you smooth glide across the mouse pad without having the body scraping on it.
The cover of the mouse is easily removed, this allows easy access for mouse maintenance – replace or upgrade the buttons the way you like!

The performance of a mouse depends greatly on the supporting software, ASUS’ Armoury software is where you customize the mouse to your liking.
Now as you can see with the interface, the ASUS Armoury is good but it’s just as limited as the mouse itself. The mouse is so basic that it doesn’t even have buttons for one to change DPI on the fly. All you have is just the left and right mouse button so it works as a mouse but it’s not one with additional buttons that help you gain quick access to other functions.
The ASUS ROG Sica Gaming Mouse retails at RM 125, it’s a mouse with good build quality and functions and if you are not one who prefers to have more buttons for easy-access (shortcut) then it will work fine with your gaming.
😀 ASUS – I think it’s well worth paying extra to have even just 2 additional buttons at the thumb area. Do consider that!
