It’s been a little more than a week since the case modding competition began and with this comes our very first report for the event, of course I need not elaborate further that goldfries is one of the official media for the event.
As for those who are clueless, no fret because I’ll bring you up to speed in what’s going on in this introduction video.
With that settled, let’s have a look at the progress. Now before I begin, please allow me to explain that these pictures are provided by the modders BUT they are not LIVE so what’s going on right now in their backyard, room, hidden bunker under the ground is entirely beyond my knowledge until they unveil. 😀 Let’s not forget, a modding competition as such also involves hiding your trump card or at least, keep your ideas from others.
Now with, here are the updates.
Starting off with have Ijat and Aaron. We’ll have a look at Ijat’s photo first which is just a view of the Core X9 – it’s obvious that his excitement over the awesome Thermaltake casing is overwhelming, let’s hope more pictures come our way from him.
As for Aaron we can see that he loves everything in this group picture of components.
Iren Modz did show us the potential of the Core X9.
If you were at Cyberfusion 2015, you’ll probably see his Core X9 in action but that’s obviously not the one for the case modding competition, knowing how creative this dude can be.
As for what’s in store? I only have this to show you.
Up next, Afiq gave us a picture by picture tour of the components – there were so many pictures, I decided to go with few of these which I think represents quite well how extensive ThermalTake’s offerings are.
Last but not least, the update from Buckroger who is a fan of Star Wars. Hello Kylo!!!
Among the highlights, Buckroger already has the TtEsports gaming peripherals at his existing rig. Note the Star Wars wallpaper. 😉
So there you have it, it’s been a slow 2 weeks it seems but rest assured we have news that all modders are revving up their engine for the weeks to come for the final showdown.
Voting is now open and you may cast them at the official voting page – cast your votes wisely, your decision will have bearing on deciding who will be the champion.
