The New Sony PlayStation®4 (PS4™) is Powered by AMD

While the enthusiasts crowd in the PC industry favors competitor products over AMD’s, it was a pleasant surprise to see that AMD is now the processur used in PS4. Stated in the Press Release, the CPU is an x86-64 AMD “Jaguar”, 8 cores processor.

The GPU on the other hand, is also AMD based. The Press Release mentions that the GPU is capable of 1.84 TFLOPS, a next-generation Radeonâ„¢ based graphics engine with 8GB GDDR5 memory.

In those 2 aspects, it’s a lot higher than the HD 7970 GPU offers, which is 3GB GDDR5 Memory and 1.01 TFLOPS Double Precision compute power (with 4.3 TFLOPS Single Precision compute power though).

That said, goldfries.com thinks that AMD has something good up their sleeves, as mentioned in our Facebook status update. And to add to that, looks like it’s going really positive for AMD with potentially billions to make!

Intel and nVidia will be on their toes.

  1. Since the recording and audio content streams online, it won’t actually download into
one big file that can be copied and moved around. A Play – Station network card, permits you to buy products and items
from online retailers of Play – Station that you could freely use when you
have a PSN Code Generator card. You is only
going to require a computer or a console that has an internet connection and use of a cloud
gaming service. Though currently unable to make outgoing calls, PSPhone
can also be capable of communicating over both CDMA & GSM
    cellular networks.

  2. After going over a few of the articles on your website, I seriously like your technique
of blogging. I book-marked it to my bookmark
site list and will be checking back in the near future.
Take a look at my website too and let me know how you feel.

  5. I like your site! (I’m a vet) Man, I remember when I was in vet
school and many people quickly found out that it
is not actually a snug and relaxing job like they believe it will likely be!
Dirty veterinary scrubs, long hours, little sleep, as well
as lots to get the knack of, however this is really truly worth it.

I believe many most people are daunted by veterinary school but if your heart is in it
i think you should put one’s heart and soul into it.
