The DQ1250 looks to be the flagship of DeepCool’s range of power supply unit, with 80Plus Platinum certification and featuring 2x 12V rails delivering 45A and 65A at peak power.
The DQ1250 is said to use top quality Japanese capacitors and it also has a separate circuit design that keeps the fan keeps at zero rpm. The fan will only start spinning when the unit is at 30% load or the ambient temperature is higher than 25 degrees.
The intelligent fan technology enables the fan keep the balance between cooling performance and noise level during different load level. Fan delay cool technology makes 140mm fan to work 15~30 seconds continually after power-off so to ensure all parts to cool down completely for a long lifespan.
This power supply is semi-modular design with only the mainboard and two ATX 12V CPU cable (700mm) fixed onto the power supply. All other cables are modular and packed in the box – 8x PCI-E (6+2Pin) connectors, 16x SATA connectors, 10x Peripheral (Big 4Pin) connectors and 3x of extensional connectors: 2 for PCI-E and 1 for small 4Pin. All cables are flat-ribboned design, making cable management much easier.
As for regulatory, DQ1250 has CE, FCC, CCC, CB, EAC and TUV. And as for protection, this power supply has over voltage protection (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP) and over power protection (OPP).
