The AMD FX-8320E – not something that’s exactly new but in fact it’s actually quite old as the Codename Vishera for AMD’s Piledriver core based FX series processors surfaced many years ago. The thing about the FX-8320E is that it’s improved with lower TDP, from a whopping 125w down to 95w.
The “AMD Power Pack” – where 6 processors and 6 fans packed in one retail box for system builders, to provide the needs of small system builders across the region, by either increasing margins or providing more competitive pricing to end users.
The Pentium G3258 is an Anniversary Edition, meant to “celebrate” 20 years of the Pentium brand. The G3258 comes unlocked hence it’s the talk of the town when it comes to overclockable budget processors.
The Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 from Asus is a revised version of the Sabertooth 990FX, hence the “R2.0” added to the model. The Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 is also part of Asus’ TUF range of boards, like the B85 board reviewed a few weeks ago.
This is not a new processor BUT it’s my favorite AMD FX range processor to date and I thought it deserves a highlight.
