Some headsets work with mobile devices, others work best with computers like notebook and desktops. The Rapoo H3070 is a headset that works with everything.
Within the package lies the headset, the cables for charging and audio signal (transmission via USB) and the wireless transmitter.
The H3070 looks no different from other Rapoo headsets I reviewed. It uses a simple dial for ON/OFF and volume controls.
The cushion is thin, sufficient to rest on your ears without being uncomfortable but don’t expect it to be at the level of gaming headsets.
The key component of the headset is this transmission unit. It does not require USB connectivity, all it needs is to be charged and connected to a 3.5mm audio output. The transmission unit will automatically pair with the headset when both are in range.

User Experience
Just like other Rapoo products, getting to connect via wireless signals requires no effort. Once powered on, the components pair themselves and you’re on your way to listening pleasure.
Speaking of listening pleasure, it depends on how discerning you are. The H3070’s bass and treble are weak and mid-tone is non-existent. I’d say, the headset is great for listening to podcasts or audio books but not for music appreciation, unless your idea of music appreciation is just to hear the music itself and that you have no preference of how the output should be.
The Verdict
The Rapoo H3070 Wireless Stereo Headset retails at RM 109, which I think is a reasonable price for something with dual-connectivity. The headset is comfortable to use but don’t expect great audio output.
