While not a new brand, Patriot is certainly a new challenger here in Malaysia and it’s currently one of the most affordable as well.
It’s understandable why it is affordable, the packaging offers nothing else but the SSD itself and an instruction manual. No screws, no mounting kits – nothing. Is that ok? Of course it is, I don’t see a reason to pay premium prices for stuff I already have or don’t use.

The Verdict
The Patriot Blast SSD is a solid product, no pun intended, it retails at RM 228 for the 120GB and it comes with 3-years warranty.
The Blast range of SSD is also in 240GB, 480GB and 960GB variants with price as below.
240GB = RM 409
480GB = RM 769
960GB = RM 1519
