Hailed as the Selfie smartphone, the Oppo F1s is a sleek looking device that has an uncanny resemblance to that of the Apple brand, no doubt about it because a friend of mine mistaken it for an iPhone.
Nevertheless it’s not entirely a copy, the Oppo F1s might be using a physical button like Apple and to even have it edged with gold colored accents but it is pill-shaped so on that aspect it’s more like that found on Samsung Galaxy range.
From the rear it looks altogether familiar, again like the rose gold variant of a certain model of smartphone.
Unlike the fruit phones, the Oppo F1s does not place the lock button at the top.
The Oppo F1s runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0 that’s based on Android 5.1, it is powered by MediaTek’s MT6750 Octa-core 1.5Ghz processor and comes with 3GB memory, 32GB storage with expansion available up to 128GB.
The Oppo F1s sports a 5.5 inch capacitive IPS TFT 720p resolution screen with multi-touch and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It comes with 3075mAh battery, the sleek body is only 7.38mm thick and the real estate measures at 154.5mm (length) by 76mm (width), weighing only 160 grams.
As for imaging, it has a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera (front) while the rear camera is 13MP with f/2.2. The Oppo F1s supports FDD and TD LTE, able to hold dual Nano-SIM cards and has Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
