User Experience

The mouse is quite big and the way it’s designed doesn’t suit me that well but I couldn’t say the same for others. Being a rather budget gaming mouse, what it lacks is the build quality. It’s decent but it’s not something that will blow users away, it’s sufficiently comfortable to use and that’s what count the most.

What I didn’t like about the mouse was the horrible middle mouse button. If you’re using the mouse strictly for gaming and your gaming doesn’t require middle mouse button usage then it’s all good. The problem with the middle mouse button is that when you click, it doesn’t register the middle button click but it registers the left click from the scroll wheel so getting it to hit EXACTLY on the middle mouse button requires much skill.

The Gigabyte software for the mouse works great though, every button can be assigned to some functions or keypress which is neat, especially that it has the buttons placed near the thumb.

The Verdict

The Gigabyte M6900 Precision Optical Gaming Mouse retails at RM 75 of which I think overall is a very good proposition when it comes to affordable gaming mice – just keep in mind that middle mouse button, if the middle mouse button is essential for your usage then avoid this mouse.
