Gigabyte’s FM2 board with AMD A85X is probably the best value board in the market for AMD’s APU users.
Here’s why ….
No huge heatsinks around the processor area. CPU fan socket has plenty of clearance around it too.
DIMM slots with ATX power socket.
Dual PCI-E slots, Dual-BIOS, Dual-link DVI. Crossfire if you need to.
2 forward facing SATA3 ports, 6 others at the corner. What I dislike is the covered panel connectors but definitely the color coding makes it easy to identify the pin pair.
Last but not least, the feature rich back panel. 6 USB ports of which 2 are USB 3.0 It comes with PS/2 connector in case you insist on using some really old keyboard.

What I like about it is that it’s a full featured board, with Dual-BIOS and various other protection and nicely priced. Even the black colored themed makes it a great fit into any setup.
The Verdict
It’s priced slightly below RM 350 in the market and has a host of features. Probably one of the best value board you can buy for an APU setup.
