Do you remember this RAM? It’s the one seen in the AMD Ryzen 5 2400G / Ryzen 3 2200G review video, right towards the end where I show the reviewers kit.
Here’s the video if you haven’t watch it, the Flare X is the kit that allowed me to reach 3466 Mhz DDR4 speed, 3600 could be attainable but I was short of time but nevertheless this RAM that’s part of the kit is worth highlighting.
I’ll spare you the details, we’ll head right into the benchmark. The unit by XMP runs at 3200Mhz with 14-14-14-34 speed.
Pushing it to DDR4-3466 saw quite a fair bit of gain, and from what I’ve heard some people manage to get it to much higher speeds.
More details at the official product page.
The G.SKILL Flare X DDR4-3200 is a “no nonsense” memory – there’s no RGB on it, and what you get is a great set of memory that goes high clock, confirmed to work on AMD system and comes with Samsung B-Die memory chips.
On the down side it carries a hefty price tag of RM 1,139.00 of which ironically costs as much as an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G and the GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI motherboard combined!
