The AX860i is Corsairs high-end power supply that comes with performance monitoring capability. While the product is not cheap, it is as solid as a PSU could be.
Monitoring capabilities aside, the AX860i is also a fully modular PSU.
With all the modular sockets, it’s not surprising to see a whole bunch of connector cables bundled with the unit. So many of them, one would’ve thought this was an invasion of some sort.
Then there’s the Digital Link cable.
With the Digital Link cable, you will be able to use the monitoring software.
The fan is an integral part of any PSU review, so here it is – the fan ran pretty silent on load.
Lastly of course, for those of you who knows how to read the table – the PSU is most certainly capable of delivering power. Don’t forget to read my article on Misleading Power Supply Ratings
Beautiful single rail 12V+ that runs up to nearly the rated delivery, the perfect choice for running multiple high-end GPUs.

User Experience & The Verdict
The power supply worked well, I stressed it by running multiple AMD Radeon R9 270 based GPU on high-load and it ran flawlessly.
I also like it that the unit comes with a Self-test switch to determine PSU functionality even before installation.
The unit retails at RM 850, a rather steep price but what you get is a really good power supply not just in terms of power delivery but also that it has various safety features, modular design for cable management, and most importantly – Corsair’s 7-year warranty!
