Cooler Master’s latest ERGOSTAND III, the latest in their line-up that continues the tradition of cooling notebooks and providing additional notebook placement position for better productivity.
The ERGOSTAND III is a stylish looking cooler, one that’s large enough to handle notebooks of greater size.
At the upper left corner, a dial that allows you to adjust the fan speed of the cooler.
At the bottom part of the cooler are 2 latches, released to support notebooks.
At the top are a range of ports to expand your connectivity to devices, surely a plus for productivity.
The ERGOSTAND III comes with 6 choice of angles, 7 if you count the non-lifted position.
The ERGOSTAND III is also maintenance friendly, open the fan cover and you’ll see that the high quality 230mm fan that’s claimed to have 160,000 lifespan is accessible for cleaning purpose.
At the base of the stand lies large sized rubber paddings that allows the ERGOSTAND a firm hold on any flat surface.

It’s a no brainer to use the ERGOSTAND III, all you need to do is decide where to place the product and what angle suits you best.
The purpose of the ERGOSTAND is to provide better viewing angle, improve cooling, and allow users to use keyboard and mouse with their notebooks. It makes sense as keyboard and mouse are ergonomically better than the ones on notebooks.
The ERGOSTAND III’s fan runs silent and it did reduce the operating temperature of the notebook by a little bit during stress test.
The ERGOSTAND III is a solid product retailing at RM 149, it is well built and serves its purpose. The only reason I see one might not consider an ERGOSTAND III is when one’s notebook is very small (11″ or less) as the ERGOSTAND III does increase the viewing distance between the user and the notebook screen.
