This is an excellent thermal paste, go out and get it now! NOW NOW NOW NOW! End of article.

OK la, I was just joking. So let’s look at the benchmarks.
Benchmarks
The test is simple, I’m using my benchmark rig – Intel Core i7-5960X overclocked with 4.3Ghz with 1.35vcore and cooled by a Cooler Master Nepton 120XL. I compared the Kryonaut to Cooler Master’s stock paste with the cooling system set to maximum RPM.
The test was done by running my usual x264 video encoding process to stress the CPU.
Here are the results.
| Thermal Paste | Load (°C) |
| Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut | 76 |
| Cooler Master Stock Paste | 83 |
WTH man, that’s a whopping 7 degrees celsius difference there! And while the Cooler Master’s stock paste reached 83c quite easily and maintained there, I noted that the Kryonaut did a very slow climb and it only reached 76 towards the final stretch of the benchmark.

The Verdict
The Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Paste is awesome stuff BUT I must inform you that your mileage varies, depending on what’s your heat source (CPU, GPU, which model…..), cooler type and existing paste. For example I’ve tested it on some of my GPU like the PowerColor R9 390, Zotac GTX 1070 AMP and GTX 1070 Founders Edition (got mine from Zotac) and they show 2 – 3 degrees improvement on peak reading.
The Kryonaut 1g retails at RM 29
The Kryonaut 5.5g retails at RM 69
Both are available in many stores across the country.
