Now as you can see the ZenPower Pro is credit card-sized classy looking powerbank with aluminum case and it comes in 3 colors – black, silver and pink.
What the specs above didn’t highlight is that the ZenPower Pro Powerbank comes with a torchlight, not a powerful but it’s sufficient to light your path in the dark.
Bundled along with the Zenpower Pro a very short charger cable.
The quickcharge port is the one with the silver border, the round button is where you activate and deactivate the LED light. The powerbank does not require any button press to charge, once I connect my Zenfone 3 to the powerbank the charge begins immediately and it stops charging upon full.
User Experience
The Zenpower Pro looks great, the metal finish gives it a classy look and feel, perhaps premium is the word.
The 10050mAh capacity is much welcome, I managed to charge the 3000mAh Zenfone 3 2.2 times over. On the 3rd charge the Zenfone 3 managed to reach 20% battery capacity, that comes to about 6600 mAh in total. That’s about 34% capacity loss during the transfer of charge, that’s not too far off from the 30% rule of thumb for power loss.
The only downside of this product would be the bundled charging cord.
The Verdict
The ASUS ZenPower Pro 10050 mAh Powerbank retails at RM 129, definitely a reasonable price to pay for a premium build 10050mAh powerbank with many safety features. It makes no sense to rely on unbranded el-cheapo powerbank to charge your precious communications devices.
