I have the EOS 500D with me for quite a while already but just before I decided to publish the review, news came about of the EOS 550D – so instead of an EOS 500D review, I thought I’d do a review of both of them with some comparison done. 
I got the invitation last week for the Worldwide Announcement of Canon’s New Flagship – Canon didn’t mention what it was, I didn’t get what it was either as I was still waiting for the EOS 7D launch. However since there has been plenty of rumours going on about the EOS 1D Mark IV so it was a good bet that this is going to be it.
Sometimes the event passed so long ago, you just don’t feel like publishing them anymore but then felt it’s kinda waste not to do so and so you decide to go ahead – it’s this case today. I got really busy for the past weeks with many things in life.
Anyway, here’s a short cap of the Canon EOS 500D Media Launch. And yes, Simon Yam was there! Those of you from the US or any other part of the world that’s not close or near Asia, you probably don’t even have an inkling on who this dude is.
