This is the 2nd APU we have at goldfries.com, first one being AMD’s E-350 seen in the Asus E35M1-M PRO Motherboard Review.
Today we have AMD’s Llano processor, a quad-core 2.9Ghz processor with 4MB cache and consumes around 100w of power on load. It also has an onboard HD 6550D GPU.

With the upcoming release of Intel’s next-generation microprocessor architecture, codenamed Sandy Bridge, motherboard makers such as Gigabyte have already prepared their products to cater to this new processor line-up that uses the LGA 1155. Can we say Bye Bye to LGA1156? Before we bid farewell to the LGA 1156, let’s look at what to expect in the near future from Gigabyte.
